NOTICE FOR 56TH ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING

Dear Member,

Notice is hereby given that the 56th Annual General Body Meeting of the G.S.B. Samaj Goregaon will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday the 29th March 2026 at the Samaj Office situated at 102-A Goregaon Pagrav CHS Ltd., S.V. Road, Goregaon (West), Mumbai – 400104 to transact the following business.

AGENDA

(1) To read and confirm the minutes of the 55th Annual General Body Meeting held on 15th December 2025.

(2) To adopt the audited Income & Expenditure Account and the Balance sheet for the year ended 31st March 2025.

(3) To elect the following office bearers for the accounting year 2025-2026:

(i) One President  (ii) Two Vice-Presidents  (iii) One Honorary General Secretary   (iv) One Honorary Joint Secretary  (v) One Honorary Treasurer  (vi) Nine Members of the Managing Committee

(4) To appoint the Auditors for the accounting year 2025-2026 and fix their remuneration, if any.

(5) To adopt non-official resolutions, if any, due notice of which has been received in time.

(6) To transact any other business with the permission of the chair.

Additional Information:

• If there is no quorum at 10:30 a.m. the meeting will be adjourned and the adjourned meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on the same day and the same place. The members at that time shall be deemed to be quorum for the meeting.
• No Proxies on behalf of the members will be allowed to attend the meeting.
• Members desirous of any information regarding the Annual Report shall give three clear days’ notice in writing prior to the Annual General Body Meeting to the Hon Gen Secretary at the Samaj Office to enable him to furnish the required information.
• Members desirous of moving any resolutions should forward the same to Hon Gen Secretary in writing at least 7 days before the meeting.
• Nominations for the elections should be submitted in the prescribed form available at Samaj office.
• Last Day of Filing of Nomination: Saturday, 14th March 2026 before 07:00 p.m.
• Display of Nominations received on Samaj Notice Board: Saturday, 21st March 2026 at 05:00 p.m.
• Last Day of Withdrawal of Nominations: Saturday, 28th March 2026 before 07:00 p.m Returning Officer: Shri P. S. Nayak
